What if I’m feeling sick?
If you are experiencing contagious symptoms, please contact the clinic as soon as possible so we can discuss how best to proceed.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive late, your appointment will still end at the scheduled time. You will be charged the full fee for your session.
What should I know before my first appointment?
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to complete your health history forms.
Your initial session will include an interview and assessments to help us understand your goals and health history. This means there may be less hands-on treatment time during your first visit.
Do you treat patients with Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims?
No. At this time, we do not take on MVA cases. We are happy to refer you to other clinics that practice Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and can accommodate MVA claims.
Is Manual Lymph Drainage covered under massage therapy?
Yes. Manual Lymph Drainage is billed as massage therapy.
Is massage therapy covered by insurance?
Every private health insurance plan is different. Patients are responsible for confirming whether massage therapy is covered under their plan and if a physician’s referral is required. Any amount not covered by insurance remains the responsibility of the patient.
Do you direct bill to insurance providers?
We bill to most major insurance providers. If we are unable to bill to your provider, payment will be due in full at your appointment. You will receive an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement.
